Job summary

WorkCover Queensland is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to shape and evolve our Azure-based integration capabilities across our digital services and platforms. You will design, deliver and optimise secure, scalable enterprise integrations using Logic Apps, API Management, Function Apps and Service Bus, partnering with architects and engineers to meet security and architectural standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering Azure Integration Services solutions including Logic Apps, Function Apps, API Management and Service Bus.
• Strong expertise in integration architecture, API design and cloud-native engineering practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation and modern software delivery approaches.
• Knowledge of API security, OAuth 2.0 and secure-by-design principles.
• Proven technical leadership and ability to mentor engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Azure integration solutions across multiple business platforms and services.
• Develop secure, scalable and reusable APIs supporting enterprise integration and digital transformation.
• Drive engineering excellence through automation, DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Contribute to integration standards, reusable patterns and platform engineering capabilities.
• Partner with architects, engineers and stakeholders to ensure security and architectural alignment.
• Explore new technologies to support WorkCover's future technology direction.
• Mentor and coach engineers to foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
