Job summary

WorkCover Queensland is transforming its technology landscape with a focus on enterprise integration on Azure. As Senior Integration Engineer, you will design, deliver and optimise integration solutions using Logic Apps, API Management, Function Apps and Service Bus to connect systems across the organisation.

You will mentor engineers, drive CI/CD practices, and help evolve scalable, secure cloud-native patterns that support digital services and business platforms.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering Azure Integration Services solutions including Logic Apps, Function Apps, API Management and Service Bus.
• Strong expertise in integration architecture, API design, integration patterns and cloud-native engineering practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation and modern software delivery approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Azure integration solutions across multiple business platforms and services.
• Develop secure, scalable and reusable APIs that support enterprise integration and digital transformation initiatives.
• Drive engineering excellence through automation, DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Contribute to integration standards, reusable patterns and platform engineering capabilities.
• Partner with architects, engineers and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with security and architectural standards.
• Explore and adopt new technologies that support WorkCover’s future technology direction.
• Mentor and coach engineers while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
