Job summary

C4 Engineering Pty Ltd. is seeking an Enterprise Integration Engineer to drive automated deployment of integration solutions across Azure services.

You will design scalable APIs, implement secure integrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing, monitoring, and issue resolution across environments. The role emphasizes architecture input, security compliance with government frameworks, and ongoing improvements to integration patterns and tooling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a software developer with C#, .NET Core and SQL.
• Experience with Azure integration services (Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, APIM).
• Strong REST/JSON/SOAP or gRPC knowledge and API design skills.
• Familiarity with authentication schemes (OAuth/OpenID/JWT).
• Experience with microservices and data transformation patterns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Analysts, Data Engineers and stakeholders to design and develop integration solutions for business requirements.
• Contribute to cloud strategy, scalability, and interoperability decisions.
• Ensure security and compliance with Australian Government frameworks (ISM, PSPF).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration workflows across environments for reliability.
• Design, develop and version APIs with reusable, scalable, secure components.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform reviews and testing (unit/integration/regression).
• Document APIs, endpoints, auth methods and usage examples for developers.
• Coordinate DevOps activities and release processes with cross-functional teams.
