Job summary

LAB3 is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 12-month contract in Australia, ideally based in Canberra or Melbourne. The role requires leading technology projects with strong governance, Azure infrastructures, and IaC (Terraform) expertise.

Australian citizenship with NV1 clearance is essential, and hybrid onsite work is expected. You will manage project delivery, budgets, and schedules across vendors and clients, applying Scrum, Agile, Kanban, and DevOps to achieve strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior Project Manager with a successful track record of delivering technology projects within complex enterprise environments requiring governance and process.
• AU citizen with NV1 clearance or higher; based in Canberra or Melbourne preferred.
• Experience delivering Azure infrastructure, data or security projects leveraging IaC (Terraform) and DevOps technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead technical project teams, vendors, partners and clients to deliver outcomes while managing risk, issues and quality.
• Influence stakeholders to achieve client and project outcomes, identifying opportunities and delivering strategic results.
• Prepare, maintain, and track project schedules, scope, resources, and finances while driving roadmaps within commercial constraints.
• Adopt hybrid or waterfall methodologies as needed, integrating Scrum, Agile, Kanban and DevOps across projects.
• Institute and lead client workshops to define functional and non-functional requirements.
• Drive continual enhancements of team frameworks, governance, reporting, and processes.
