Job summary

Powerdata Group Consulting is seeking a Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer/Architect to uplift and standardise an enterprise data platform for a major financial services client. You will work across Azure components, migrate ETL/ELT, and deliver reusable data products while engaging business and technical stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on delivery, independent operation, and strong experience with Azure data services and Power BI to enable enterprise analytics and governance enablement.

Qualifications

• Senior-level data platform engineer with Azure expertise.
• Deep knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT and governance.
• Experience delivering Azure data solutions and Power BI analytics.

Responsibilities

• Assess and uplift Azure data platform components.
• Document dependencies across ingestion pipelines and semantic models.
• Migrate and optimise ETL/ELT processes for enterprise data.
• Develop and implement Azure data engineering solutions.
• Design reusable data products and medallion architectures.
• Develop and optimise Azure SQL objects and transformations.
• Support reporting and analytics via Power BI.
