Job summary

Luvo Talent is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join a large enterprise technology environment in Melbourne. The role focuses on designing, building and automating secure and scalable Azure cloud solutions.

This hands-on position emphasizes Azure, Terraform, DevOps, CI/CD, identity and automation, working with architects, developers, security, and operations to deliver cloud-native and hybrid solutions while improving engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with Azure.
• Strong automation and IaC focus using Terraform and scripting.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and identity solutions.
• Experience in Investment, Wealth Management or Superannuation environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage secure, highly available Azure workloads.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and YAML.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Manage source control, branching, PRs and release governance via Azure Repos.
• Implement identity and access solutions using Entra ID/AD.
• Work across RBAC, Conditional Access, SSO, SAML and SCIM.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Build monitoring, logging, alerting and observability capabilities.
