Job summary

AYAN InfoTech in Melbourne seeks an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join an exciting project. You will design, build, deploy, and manage highly available Azure workloads, leveraging DevOps practices to deliver secure, scalable solutions for the Investment, Wealth, and Superannuation domain.

The role requires 7+ years of experience and hands-on expertise with Azure Cloud, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and identity management using Entra ID.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related field.
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to design, build, deploy, and manage scalable cloud workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and manage secure, scalable Azure workloads aligned with enterprise standards.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments.
• Create and manage IaC with Terraform across environments.
• Work with YAML-based pipelines and automation frameworks to streamline delivery.
• Manage code repositories, branching, and release governance with Azure Repos.
• Implement and manage Identity and Access Management using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects, security teams, and stakeholders on cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
• Contribute to architecture docs, runbooks, and knowledge repositories.
