Atturra is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join the Managed Services team in Canberra or Melbourne. You will design, build, automate and optimize secure Azure platforms for enterprise and government customers, delivering infrastructure, networking, security, integration, backup and disaster recovery solutions in complex and regulated environments.

You will implement landing zones, hybrid cloud solutions, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, with VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute and Entra

Competenze

Strong experience delivering Microsoft Azure infrastructure at scale.
Knowledge of landing zones, governance and enterprise deployments.
Practical experience with infrastructure as code and cloud automation.
Experience with Azure security, compliance and hardening practices.
Experience in government, defence or other regulated environments is a plus.

Mansioni

Build, configure and integrate Azure infrastructure in line with approved architectures, detailed designs and customer requirements.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Ansible, Bicep and ARM templates, and build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
Implement Azure networking and connectivity, including VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, load balancers, route tables, NAT Gateway, Private Endpoints and ExpressRoute; design hub-and-spoke architectures.
Deploy Azure Integration Services, including Event Hubs, Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
Implement monitoring, logging and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and diagnostic settings.
Apply security controls aligned with ISM and Essential Eight requirements, including encryption and Customer Managed Keys.
Deploy and support Azure Virtual Desktop, including FSLogix, image management and security hardening.
Build Azure infrastructure for SAP workloads and implement Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault, Veeam and other backup solutions.
Support disaster recovery planning, testing, resilience and failover activities.
Implement identity and access management with Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC and Privileged Identity Management.
Participate in architecture reviews, change management and governance, and prepare technical documentation, as-built records, runbooks and operational procedures.
