LAB3 is an Azure engineering leader delivering Cloud & DevOps, Data, IoT & AI, Modern Workplace and Security solutions across Australasia. We seek a Lead Engineer (Managed Services) to guide engagements, shape Azure architecture, and drive modernization with automation. Requires Baseline Security Clearance or Australian citizenship to obtain clearance.

The role focuses on governance, design leadership, and mentoring while collaborating with pre-sales and delivery teams to achieve client success.

Qualifications

Experience in Azure cloud architecture, DevOps, and on-prem environments.
Strong client-focused mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Proactive about process improvement, governance, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture design and strategy for Azure cloud engagements.
Design and implement scalable, secure Azure patterns addressing reliability and performance.
Support pre-sales with technical input, requirements, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and drive delivery excellence.
Communicate findings, cost estimations, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
