Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to design, build and manage modern API-led integration solutions across Azure cloud environments. You will develop RESTful interfaces, manage API security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in Azure Integration Services, APIM, CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with FHIR/HL7 standards, with a preference for healthcare or regulated industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of API architecture and integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services and cloud-native development.
• Solid knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization frameworks.
• Experience with Azure API Management, API development, deployment, and support.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Exposure to FHIR and HL7 standards will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable API-led integration solutions.
• Build and support integrations using Azure Native Services such as Azure Functions, Azure Event Hub, and related services.
• Develop and manage REST APIs, with exposure to FHIR/HL7 APIs highly regarded.
• Implement secure API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Configure and manage Azure API Management (APIM).
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality integration outcomes.
