Job summary

Indigitise invites an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to join the EIAMS team within the DTDD. You will oversee the cloud infrastructure, focusing on AWS, EKS, and automation to guarantee security, reliability, and performance.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity and delivery stakeholders to drive platform enhancements, support releases, and ensure resilient operations across multiple government-regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure engineering and operations.
• Strong hands-on with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes, including upgrades and patching.
• Experience in infrastructure automation and cloud engineering practices.
• Knowledge of AWS security architecture and controls (IAM, WAF, secret management).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Argo CD or similar.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure, reliable and high-performing AWS environment with focus on EKS and automation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and delivery stakeholders on platform enhancements and releases.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and ArgoCD for secure deployments.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement preventative improvements.
• Ensure platform scalability, cost management and operational resilience.
