The Senior DevOps Engineer - Operations role leads a cloud engineering team, owns AWS platform design and operations, and champions cost optimization and ITIL-aligned governance to reduce toil and drive reliability.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience designing, managing, and optimising AWS cloud environments at scale.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and FinOps principles.
• Experience guiding cross-functional teams and driving architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation, maintenance, and performance of complex AWS cloud environments.
• Act as primary escalation point for platform issues and drive incident response.
• Manage identity and access controls with least-privilege provisioning.
• Drive continuous optimisation to improve performance, reliability, and security.
• Review and evolve cloud architectures using Well-Architected Framework; enable modernization.
• Oversee platform lifecycle management including upgrades and security governance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing cloud engineering team and client relationships.
