Job summary

Luxoft Australia is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to join the OTC Clearing team, delivering, supporting, and modernizing the Calypso platform for a leading Australian financial market infrastructure provider.

In a cross-functional Agile environment, you will drive cloud migration to AWS, Aurora PostgreSQL adoption, observability improvements, and DevOps automation, building robust CI/CD pipelines and scalable IaC.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in DevOps, Platform, Cloud Engineering, and SRE to support cloud-based infrastructure.
• Advanced hands-on AWS services including compute, containers, IAM, networking, monitoring, and secrets management.
• Experience with Calypso or capital markets platforms is a plus.
• Terraform with Ansible for IaC and configuration management.
• Linux administration; scripting in Bash and Python.
• Experience in regulated environments and release governance.
• Establishing monitoring, logging, observability, and incident response frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support AWS cloud infrastructure hosting the core platform and services.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab SaaS for automated deployments.
• Support migration from on-premises to AWS cloud platforms.
• Implement and maintain IaC using Terraform and Ansible.
• Automate deployments, database refreshes, environment provisioning, and support processes.
• Collaborate across Engineering, QA, Ops, Infra, and Architecture to boost delivery and resilience.
• Drive observability improvements with logging, monitoring, and OpenTelemetry tooling.
• Manage secrets and access controls per enterprise security patterns.
