Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to join the OTC Clearing team in Melbourne. You will own cloud infrastructure hosting the Calypso platform, drive CI/CD pipelines with GitLab SaaS, and accelerate cloud migration from on-prem to AWS.

You will also implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible, automate deployments, and improve observability across environments. Ideal candidates have 9+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong AWS expertise, and a track record with capital markets apps.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, Cloud Engineering, and SRE to support and optimize cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience implementing DevOps pipelines for capital markets trading apps (Calypso, Murex, FIS).
• Strong hands-on AWS with compute, storage, IAM, networking, monitoring, and databases; IaC with Terraform; config management via Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support AWS cloud infrastructure hosting the core platform and related services.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab SaaS for automated deployments across environments.
• Support migration of workloads from on-prem to AWS cloud platforms; implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible.
• Automate deployments, environment provisioning, and operational support processes.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to enhance delivery efficiency and platform resilience.
• Drive observability improvements via logging, monitoring, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, and related tools.
