Job summary

Luxoft in Australia is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to join the OTC Clearing team. You will help deliver, support, and modernize the Calypso-based platform for a leading financial market infrastructure provider.

The role emphasizes AWS cloud, CI/CD pipelines with GitLab SaaS, IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and observability across logging, monitoring, and incident response, within a cross-functional Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in DevOps, Platform or SRE to support cloud-based infrastructure.
• Hands-on AWS with compute, storage, IAM, networking, monitoring, secrets management.
• Experience delivering Calypso or capital markets trading apps is a big plus.
• Strong CI/CD with GitLab SaaS, IaC with Terraform and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support AWS cloud infrastructure hosting the core platform.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab SaaS for automated deployments.
• Support migration from on-premise workloads to AWS cloud platforms.
• Automate deployments, environment provisioning, and operational support processes.
• Drive observability with logging, monitoring, OpenTelemetry, and CloudWatch.
• Manage secrets, certificates, access controls and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Ops, Security, and Architecture teams.
• Contribute to DevOps standards and reusable pipeline patterns.
