Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA, seeks a Sr Avionics Lab Engineer to join the hardware development team. You will design and test satellite electronic sub-systems, perform PCBA rework, and support lab diagnostics for rapid prototype iterations.
You will work hands-on with PCBA inspections, rework, and integration work, ensuring ANSI/ESD standards and IPC guidelines are followed while collaborating with the engineering team to meet demanding aerospace goals.
Qualificações
- 5+ years hardware development, test lab, or hands-on aerospace engineering.
- 6+ years electrical theory, robotics, controls components, automation.
- 5+ years PCBA rework/modification/repair down to 0402 size.
- 5+ years avionics hardware assembly, validation testing, wiring.
- Lift/carry up to 50 pounds twice weekly.
Responsabilidades
- Adhere to ESD safe hardware protocols and detailed work instructions.
- Perform first article PCBA inspection and repairs on complex boards.
- Support hardware bring-up, diagnostics, and environmental tests.
- Document work, report discrepancies, and maintain lab equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver prototypes quickly.
