Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond seeks a Senior Site Technical Manager focused on Manufacturing Test Engineering to lead SMT processes, test infrastructure ownership, and end-to-end support of Aviation Customer Terminals from prototype to mass production.

You will be embedded at contract manufacturers, drive yields, develop test strategies and automation, provide DFM/DFA feedback, and partner across engineering, operations and business teams to ensure quality and on-time

Qualifications

5+ years in technical product or program management with engineering exposure.
Experience leading technical programs involving infrastructure and complex systems.
Experience in written and verbal communication to executives and non-technical leaders.

Responsibilities

Lead SMT process improvements at the contract manufacturer to meet CT performance standards.
Own the Test Coverage Document (TCD) from design requirements to factory test execution.
Define modular test strategies and develop/execute test sequences using Test Stand, Kazam, with GR&R and Cp/Cpk analysis.
Lead yield attack initiatives; perform DOEs to root-cause defects and refine test coverage.
Drive DFM/DFA feedback to hardware/firmware teams and coordinate cross-functional activities.
