Hedley Scott Recruitment seeks an experienced Senior Auditor for a 2–3 month fixed-term contract in Sydney. You will join 2–3 auditors, performing external audit work for two large proprietary companies in civil contracting and home building.

Requirements include 4–6 years of external audit, knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards, and the ability to work independently. Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome; CA/CPA is advantageous but not essential.

This established boutique chartered accounting and advisory firm has been operating in Sydney for approximately 70 years, with a team of around 15–20 professionals.

Located in Sydney CBD near Wynyard, the firm provides Audit, Business Services, Tax, SMSF and Corporate Advisory services to privately owned businesses, high-net-worth individuals and family groups.

The firm offers a collaborative working environment with reasonable workload expectations and a focus on maintaining regular working hours, even during audit season.

Position Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Auditor to join the team on a 2–3 month fixed-term contract.

You’ll work alongside 2–3 existing auditors on external audit engagements for two large proprietary companies operating in civil contracting and private home building.
