Job summary

BDO Australia is seeking a Senior Manager for the Melbourne Audit team to lead audit engagements from planning through reporting. You will work with Partners to grow client services, manage staff and leverage data analytics and AI to elevate assurance quality.

The role requires CA qualification with extensive audit experience across sectors, including ASX-listed clients, and deep knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards. A clear path to leadership and career progression is offered.

Qualifications

• CA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in audits.
• Experience delivering audit and other assurance services to clients in a range of sectors, including ASX listed companies.
• In-depth understanding of Australian Auditing Standards and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proven experience managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit engagements start to finish from planning to reporting.
• Assess processes, controls and perform substantive testing with governance reporting.
• Sign-off on complex client documents including technical accounting matters.
• Ensure compliance with audit, accounting, ethical standards and policies.
