BDO Australia in Melbourne is seeking an Auditor to join the Melbourne Audit team. This role provides exposure to a diverse client base across industries, with the chance to work in a high performing team on audits for listed, private, and not-for-profit organisations.

You will work with engagement managers and senior team members, develop understanding of client processes, document audit findings, and assist in drafting client-facing documents. A pathway toward CA/CPA is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous external audit experience in a professional services firm (minimum 1 year).
• Working towards, or interested in pursuing, CA or CPA qualification.
• Ability to identify issues and contribute to problem solving.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsabilités

• Support the execution of audits for listed, private and not for profit companies ranging in size and industry.
• Working closely with the engagement Manager and senior team members, assist in identifying audit risks and contribute to the audit approach for assigned areas.
• Develop and document understanding of client processes and internal controls.
• Document findings from audit procedures performed and communicate them to senior team members.
• Assist with the drafting of client facing documents including audit reports and management representation letters.
• Liaise with clients in relation to audit requests throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Play an active role in shaping the culture of the BDO Melbourne audit team.
