Job summary

Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is seeking a Senior Audio-Visual Specialist to join the Technology Operations team in Adelaide. You will deliver high-quality AV experiences at major events across ACC, AEC, Coopers Stadium and The Drive, while providing technical leadership and support to the Technology team.

You’ll lead across Audio, Lighting, Video and Rigging, troubleshoot complex AV setups, mentor technicians and coordinate crews to ensure safe, smooth events.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in AV, entertainment or a related technical environment.
• Advanced technical skills in one or more AV disciplines.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours, including weekends.
• Diploma in Technical Services or 7 years' experience in your specialist field.
• Current Forklift Licence, or willingness to obtain one.
• Current EWP Licence, or willingness to obtain one.

Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is looking for an experienced Senior Audio-Visual Specialist to join our Technology Operations team.

Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia's leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide's most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC), and Coopers Stadium (CS), in addition to functions and events at The Drive (TD).
