Honeywell Aerospace in Redmond, WA is seeking a Sr. Adv Atomic Physicist to lead development of atomic clocks, atomic RF sensors, and photonics. You will work with a team of scientists and engineers to turn concepts into practical devices within aerospace programs.

You will engage with customers, define needs, analyze data, and document system requirements, while supporting proposals and trade studies. This hybrid role, reporting to the Director of Engineering, offers a path to advance quantum

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• PhD is highly valued for advanced research and leadership roles.
• Experience solving complex problems through analysis and experimentation.
• Excellent written and oral communication with a record of public results.

Responsibilities

• Fill a critical role in an atomic clock development program.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop new atomic sensor concepts and prototypes.
• Engage with customers to define needs and apply engineering solutions.
• Support design teams with system requirements, tests, and documentation.
• Conduct simulations, data analysis, and procedure reviews to verify requirements.
