Job summary

Hall & Wilcox is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Statutory Insurance NSW - Workers' Compensation practice in Sydney or Newcastle. The role offers growth with a supportive environment and collaboration with a large, experienced team across multiple offices.

The successful candidate will have minimum five years’ post-admission experience in personal injury, specifically Workers' Compensation, and the ability to mentor junior members while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Five years' post-admission experience in the personal injury space, specifically Workers' Compensation (defendant side).
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a collaborative team.
• Excellent technical, analytical and drafting skills with keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commitment to client service and ability to manage client relationships.
• Willingness and ability to mentor and supervise junior team members; ability to organise and prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the NSW Statutory Insurance - Workers' Compensation practice across Newcastle and Sydney.
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers within the team.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and drive service delivery.
• Collaborate with partners across offices to strategy and execute complex files.
• Draft pleadings, memos and advice with precision and clarity.
