Job summary

Bartier Perry Pty Ltd is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join its Defendant Workers Compensation practice in Sydney. You will handle statutory workers compensation claims and related common law work injury damages, with the option to work remotely or in the Sydney CBD office.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3+ years PQE.
• Proven experience in NSW Workers Compensation and Statutory Insurance matters; work injury damages experience is a plus.
• Strong technical, analytical and drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a supportive, collaborative team.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflow.
• Interest in becoming a leading Worker’s Compensation practitioner and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to all facets of statutory workers compensation claims and common law work injury damages claims.
• Work within a fast‑paced defendant insurance team serving clients across NSW.
• Contribute to delivering high quality legal advice in a friendly, supportive environment.
