Job summary

Reo Group, a specialist insurance law boutique in Sydney CBD, is seeking a Senior Associate to manage a portfolio of workers compensation and work injury damages matters from instruction to resolution. You will provide clear, commercially grounded advice to insurer and self-insurer clients, with direct contact by phone, email and periodic face-to-face meetings, and take a lead role on selected matters.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years post-qualification experience in NSW workers compensation law.
• Defendant or plaintiff backgrounds considered.
• Strong drafting ability to produce clear, commercially useful advice.
• Experience with the Personal Injury Commission is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and progress a portfolio of workers compensation and work injury damages matters independently.
• Draft concise, technically sound advice for insurer and self-insurer clients.
• Maintain direct client relationships and attend periodic client meetings.
• Instruct and coordinate with counsel when required.
• At Senior Associate level, take carriage of selected matters and mentor junior practitioners.
