Core Talent seeks an experienced Senior/Associate Urban Designer to lead and shape major NSW places, masterplans and public realm projects from concept through to delivery. The role offers ownership, progression and close work with senior design leaders in a multidisciplinary studio.
You will drive project delivery, manage teams and contribute to ongoing growth of the NSW portfolio, with opportunities to advance to higher responsibilities and client leadership within a city-shaping practice.
A leading multidisciplinary design practice with a strong presence across Australia, working across urban design, landscape architecture, architecture and planning.
The Sydney team works on a diverse range of projects that shape new communities and urban environments, from large-scale masterplans through to public realm and place-making projects.
Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to strengthen their Urban Design team with an experienced Senior Urban Designer or Associate.
This is a key opportunity to join an established Urban Design and Cities & Places team working across some of NSW's most significant masterplanning and urban renewal.
You’ll play an important role in driving project delivery, managing teams and contributing to the ongoing growth of the NSW portfolio, working closely with senior design leaders and the wider multidisciplinary studio.
The role would suit an experienced Senior Urban Designer looking to step into an Associate position, or an established Associate who wants greater responsibility across project leadership, client relationships and design direction.
The work spans large-scale masterplans, new communities, urban renewal, mixed-use precincts, town centres and public realm, giving you the opportunity to work at a genuinely city-shaping scale.
The studio has a genuinely multidisciplinary and collaborative culture, with Urban Design, Landscape Architecture and Architecture working closely together rather than operating as separate teams. The practice places a strong emphasis on shared authorship, where ideas are developed and strengthened collectively.
You’ll be joining a team where design thinking and project delivery are equally important, with the opportunity to have a genuine influence on projects from early strategy and masterplanning through to the delivery of places and public spaces.
The practice also puts a strong focus on people and wellbeing, with a culture built around mutual respect and giving people opportunities to grow. Recent team appointments and internal progression also highlight a strong emphasis on developing and retaining talent.
