Job summary

• Experience with financial reporting systems such as SAP, Calumo, TM1 or similar platforms.

• Exciting opportunity to join the Finance Reporting and Insights Team, within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport
• This is a Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $133,348 - $146,945 per annum plus superannuation
• Full-time temporary role (12 months) based in Sydney CBD, hybrid working arrangements may be available within business operational needs

About The Role

Join the Corporate Services team at the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS) and play a key role in supporting the financial systems and reporting capability that underpins decision-making across the department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys combining financial reporting expertise with systems administration, data quality and stakeholder collaboration. You'll work closely with Finance Business Partners, ICT teams and system vendors to ensure our financial reporting systems continue to deliver reliable information and meet evolving business needs.

About You

You are a finance or accounting professional with experience supporting financial reporting, budgeting or planning systems in a complex environment. You enjoy understanding how systems, processes and data come together to support better decision-making and are confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Experience working with financial reporting, budgeting or planning systems such as SAP, Calumo, TM1 or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities for process and system improvement.
• Experience supporting reporting, forecasting and budget cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and interdependencies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and practical way.
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, finance or a related discipline, together with membership (or eligibility for membership) of a recognised Australian accounting body, or equivalent experience are essential.
