Qualifications

• Admitted in Australia with an unrestricted practising certificate.
• 5+ years post-admission property law experience.
• Experience for developers on off the plan sales with sunset clauses.
• Strong leasing experience under NSW Retail Leases Act 1994.
• Nationwide NSW experience and at least one other state.
• Confident managing client relationships in a boutique environment.
• Working knowledge of PEXA for settlements.

Responsibilities

• Act for developers on off the plan sales of strata projects and land subdivisions from contract structuring to settlement.
• Advise on site acquisitions, options, joint ventures and development management agreements.
• Manage commercial and retail leasing matters for landlords and tenants across Australian jurisdictions.
• Handle commercial, industrial and residential acquisitions and disposals, Torrens title issues, easements, covenants and priority disputes.
• Coordinate project finance and security documentation for developers and lenders.
• Prepare master contracts, disclosure statements and draft plans, and contribute to growing the practice.
