Job summary

Mallesons in Perth seeks a Senior Associate to join the Projects team. You will advise on front-end construction and infrastructure matters, including contract preparation, review, and negotiation, to deliver cost-effective solutions for government, energy, resources, and developers.

You will draft and review complex agreements, manage claims, and contribute to business development initiatives, drawing on deep front-end project experience in private practice or in-house environments.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in drafting construction and O&M arrangements adopting different commercial frameworks and pricing models.
• Outstanding legal analysis capabilities, with a knack for simplifying complex legal concepts.
• Strong dedication to client service, fostering relationships that lead to timely, relevant, and commercially astute advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on construction and infrastructure matters from contract preparation to resolution of claims.
• Draft, negotiate and review contractual arrangements for front-end projects and infrastructure deals.
• Support business development efforts and develop strategic relationships and networks.
