Job summary

Macquarie Group's Commodities and Global Markets division seeks a Senior Associate - Finance to support financial reporting, analysis and operational activities across multiple businesses, regions and currencies.

The role involves working with large data sets, preparing accounting entries and reconciliations, and partnering with Finance, Treasury and Risk teams to drive accuracy and process improvements. 12-month maximum term contract.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• 1 year’s of experience in financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and progress towards a CPA, CA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing needs.

Senior Associate - Finance | Commodities and Global Markets

Our team sits alongside the Specialised and Asset Finance business and delivers a broad range of financial outcomes across global asset finance businesses. We provide financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, funding analysis and operational support to help the business make informed decisions and achieve strong outcomes.

This will be a 12-months maximum term contract.
