Job summary

Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia's leading independent law firm, seeks a high-calibre Senior Associate for its Perth team to work on significant energy and natural resources transactions. You will advise on large domestic and cross-border deals, including private and public M&A, JVs, royalties, and offtake transactions.

The role offers exposure to top-tier energy & natural resources work, with opportunities to lead junior team members and participate in business development.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years' post-qualification experience at a leading top tier firm.
• Strong generalist corporate M&A capability across public and private transactions.
• Genuine interest in developing expertise in energy and natural resources transactions.
• Outstanding drafting skills and analytical capability.
• Ability to manage matters and lead junior team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to build lasting client relationships.
• Willingness to participate in business development activities and build your profile in the energy and natural resources sector.
• Desire to grow as both a lawyer and a leader.

Responsibilities
