Job summary

We are Mallesons in Brisbane, seeking a Solicitor or Senior Associate (4–8 PQE) with energy, resources and infrastructure experience to join our Energy, Resources & Infrastructure team. This role focuses on transactional matters and market-leading projects, including M&A, project development and related advisory work.

You will work with a top-tier team across Queensland and national matters, advising on complex deals and contributing to business development while mentoring junior lawyers.

• Excellent analytical, communication and research skills to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice.
• Strong commitment to client service and relationship management.
• Team-focused with willingness to mentor junior solicitors and support resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on energy, resources and infrastructure matters across corporate, private M&A and project development.
• Draft advices, reports, and documents including agreements and due diligence reports.
• Support business development and nurture professional networks.
• Manage workflow and contribute to strategic, innovative client solutions.
