Job summary

Bank of China Sydney is seeking an energetic Senior Associate to join our Corporate Banking Middle Office, focusing on risk governance, lending oversight and AML compliance.

The role includes coordinating credit risk, AML controls, data quality and incident reporting, with support to the manager. Requires 3+ years in banking and a Finance/Accounting qualification, plus strong English and Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in banking, preferably corporate or institutional
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
• Basic knowledge of corporate lending, AML risk management, or corporate financial advisory
• Good understanding of market information and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop in the team

Responsibilities

• Administrate corporate business line customer management and credit limit approvals
• Support risk management across credit, operational, market and counterparty risk
• Assist in AML risk mitigation, compliance oversight, and customer complaint handling
• Assist in integrating AML and compliance obligations throughout policies
• Maintain data quality management for corporate business line
• Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned by the manager
