Job summary

Bank of China Sydney is seeking a proactive Senior Associate in Corporate Banking to join our team for a two-year term. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, supporting relationship managers, and assisting in credit analysis and lending transactions to meet client needs.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of banking experience, a Finance/Accounting degree, and fluency in English and Mandarin. Australian PR or AUS/NZ citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Excellent communication in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and support the delivery of banking services to customers.
• Assist relationship managers in maintaining and developing existing client relationships.
• Prepare preliminary credit analysis and credit applications under supervision.
• Support execution of credit and advisory transactions under senior guidance.
• Monitor post-lending credit profile changes and prepare reports.
• Contribute to branch development strategies and annual corporate banking plans.
• Coordinate with Head Office divisions on policy, reporting and business coordination.
• Conduct industry research and market analysis to back business development and credit strategy.
