The role covers Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general accounting and administration, with a hands-on approach and potential to move permanently from a fixed-term contract. Ideal for candidates with 5+ years' corporate accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA studies underway or willingness to pursue professional accreditation.
• 5+ years' experience in a corporate accounting or similar finance role.
• 2–3 years' experience supporting month-end financial close processes.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge across AP, AR, reconciliations and general ledger.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills (Pivot tables, Vlookup, Xlookup).
• Experience with ERP systems; exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor setup and payments.
• Manage customer invoicing, credit notes and reconciliations.
• Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close.
• Assist with BAS preparation, GST compliance and tax reporting.
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and management reporting.
• Support inventory, depreciation schedules and cost analysis.
• Provide backup payroll and HR/admin support when required.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers.
