Job summary

City of Moreton Bay is seeking a Senior Asset Management Systems Officer to lead asset and spatial data systems, ensuring quality data supports planning, maintenance, investment, and operational decisions across the organisation. You will improve asset data collection, drive system enhancements, and deliver reports and dashboards using GIS and Power BI to inform strategic actions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in asset systems management and data integrity improvements.
• Sound knowledge of asset management principles and practices.
• Experience working with large datasets and asset information systems.
• Strong proficiency in GIS and other data management and analysis tools.
• Experience interpreting engineering, design, or as-constructed plans.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience delivering system enhancements that support both operational and strategic

Responsibilities

• Leading asset integrity improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities to enhance asset management and spatial systems.
• Managing and maintaining asset data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Analysing asset information and providing technical advice to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Developing and implementing asset data collection processes and standards.
• Delivering system enhancements that improve automation, maintenance, planning, and infrastructure operations.
• Supporting the development of asset renewal models and integrated asset planning processes.
• Maintaining infrastructure programming information and supporting project forecasting and reporting.
• Creating insightful reports, dashboards, and spatial visualisations using GIS, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools.
