Job summary

SA Water in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Asset Planner to lead asset strategies and management plans for vital infrastructure. You will guide investment plans, assess risks and life-cycle costs, and collaborate with stakeholders to balance service outcomes and efficiency.

The role requires strategic leadership, broad asset management expertise, and strong communication to drive sustainable water solutions for communities.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Engineering, Science, Asset Management, Architecture or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience steering teams and developing capability in a complex environment.
• Significant experience in asset management, infrastructure planning, operations or maintenance.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and Critical thinking and judgement.
• Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience developing business cases, investment strategies and long-term asset plans.
• The ability to influence outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups and organisational levels.
