Airservices Australia is recruiting a Senior Asset Engineer to lead lifecycle management and optimisation of critical technology assets across Australia's aviation network. Based in Melbourne, you will balance performance, risk and cost to sustain Air Traffic Management, Enterprise IT and telecom systems.

You will develop asset strategies, analyse lifecycle costs and influence technology investment decisions in a highly regulated environment, collaborating with Owners, Architects, operations

Qualifications

• A relevant Engineering degree and eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, requirements management, risk management and lifecycle planning.
• Strong capability in lifecycle cost analysis, Total Cost of Ownership modelling and value-based decision making.
• Experience developing asset management plans and strategies for complex technology environments.
• Strong financial and commercial skills relating to technology asset management.
• Experience analysing asset performance and applying data-driven decision making.
• Experience working with suppliers and managing commercial or contractual relationships.
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in technically complex and regulated environments.

Responsabilités

• Optimise the technical and financial performance of technology assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain Asset Class Management Plans and monitor asset performance.
• Analyse lifecycle costs and assess investment/ replacement options.
• Collaborate with Asset Owners, Enterprise Architects, Service Operations and suppliers to shape long-term asset strategies.
