Job summary

Chelsea Search Group seeks an experienced ASIC Chip Lead and Design Engineer in Redmond, WA. You will drive architectural design, define interfaces, and lead the full ASIC/SoC lifecycle with a focus on PPA optimization and robust verification.

Responsibilities include RTL design, constraint development, RISC conformance, and close collaboration with physical design and verification teams. Strong leadership and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE or equivalent degree required.
• 10+ years in ASIC/SoC design with leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Synopsys Design Compiler and EDA tools.
• Strong RTL design and Verilog/SystemVerilog skills.
• Experience with RISC architectures and design optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design of ASICs from high-level requirements.
• Develop detailed specifications for chip components.
• Create and optimize RTL and perform synthesis with Synopsys tools.
• Develop timing constraints and coordinate P&R with physical design.
• Constrain and verify RISC processors within the chip.
• Support verification and collaborate across multi-site teams.
