Job summary

Motion Recruitment is assisting an established Australian consultancy with an Senior ASIC Design Engineer role in Australia. The position offers Adelaide, Sydney or Melbourne locations, with hybrid or remote work options across Australia.

You will design and develop digital ASICs from architecture through to verification, collaborating with experienced FPGA, firmware, hardware and systems engineers to deliver high-performance digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in ASIC or digital design with complex digital systems.
• Proficiency in Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Experience with RTL design, synthesis and timing analysis.

Responsibilities

Our client is an established Australian design services consultancy, headquartered in Adelaide, delivering complex engineering and technology solutions to clients across Australia.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced ASIC Design Engineer to join their engineering team and work across a range of technically challenging projects.

The Role

As an ASIC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing digital ASIC solutions from architecture through to implementation and verification. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop high-performance and reliable digital systems.

The role will provide the opportunity to work across a variety of projects while contributing to technical architecture, RTL development and ASIC design.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You will have a strong background in ASIC or digital design, with experience developing complex digital systems. Ideally, you will have experience with:

• ASIC design and RTL development.
• Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
• Digital architecture and microarchitecture.
• RTL design, synthesis and timing analysis.
• ASIC verification and simulation.
• FPGA development and digital systems.
• Design tools and semiconductor development flows.
• Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
