Job summary

Firmus Technologies is seeking a Senior Security Engineer, Application to own the security of Firmus AI Cloud and the internal software that runs it. You will automate security ownership across the platform, protect public APIs, and enforce tenant isolation within the application.

You will lead threat modelling, define authentication/authorization standards, and drive secure design across teams while collaborating with engineering, SOC, and product stakeholders to reduce risk and improve

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
7+ years in application security, product security, or software engineering with a security focus.
Experience securing a public cloud or multi-tenant platform with a public API.
Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Security Top 10, multi-tenant APIs.

Responsibilities

Own the CI/CD security gates across production repositories (SAST/DAST/SCA).
Build repeatable security automation: triage, dependency uplift, evidence collection.
Define authentication, authorization between services, tenant isolation, secret handling and logging standards.
Lead threat modelling and secure design reviews; set security requirements for AI assistants and agentic features.
Coach security champions and assist incident response for application security.
