X-Team International is hiring a senior Android engineer for a major Australian bank project. You will develop an offline-first Android app using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and a SQLite persistence layer, ensuring resilience during backend slowdowns. Expect 2–4 weeks onsite in Melbourne to align with the team and gain context.

You will work with gRPC/Protobuf, MVVM or MVI, and modern security practices, with opportunities to influence Open Banking features and cross-team collaboration.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of senior native Android engineering with expert Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Production experience building offline-first apps with SQLite, including local caching and migrations.
• Kotlin Coroutines and Flow to keep UI rendering separate from background work.
• Hands-on experience with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and automated code generation on Android.
• Clean Architecture, MVVM or MVI, and dependency injection with Hilt or Dagger.
• Android security fundamentals: Keystore or EncryptedSharedPreferences, certificate pinning, OAuth2.
• Able to work onsite in Melbourne for the first 2–4 weeks.
