Job summary

X-Team International Pty Ltd – Melbourne VIC is seeking experienced iOS engineers to join a mobile squad for work on two strategic projects at a major Australian bank. You will develop offline-first capabilities using SQLite, design architectures that tolerate latency and outages, and integrate gRPC with Protocol Buffers on iOS.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of native iOS experience, strong Swift/SwiftUI skills, and hands-on experience with offline caching, MVVM/Redux/TCA, and OAuth2 security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of native iOS engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Swift and SwiftUI.

Responsibilities

• Build offline-first architecture with SQLite for local data caching and offline state management.
• Design mobile architectures that handle network latency, backend outages, and data sync.
• Consume gRPC services and work with Protocol Buffers and automated code generation on iOS.
• Implement reactive architecture patterns (MVVM, Redux, or TCA) for managing concurrent data loading and UI state.
• Apply iOS security fundamentals including Keychain management, certificate pinning, and OAuth2 authentication flows.
