Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Analyst Tolling Demand for a fixed-term full-time role in Sydney. You will deliver transport demand analyses and create data visualisations to support decision-making for the Toll Reform team and NSW Government.

You will lead data-driven insights, forecast accuracy improvements, and develop analytical tools while coordinating modelling activities and communicating complex outputs to diverse stakeholders.

In this role, you'll:

Working as part of a team delivering transport demand analysis and data visualisations to support decision-making processes for the Toll Reform team and the NSW Government.

This role will see you conduct transport demand analysis, develop analytical and visualisation tools, coordinate modelling activities, produce high-quality documentation, provide expert advice on traffic forecasting, and collaborate with stakeholders to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement in demand modelling practices.

You will lead data-driven insights, demand forecasting accuracy, and analytical capability improvements in a complex environment with evolving modelling requirements, technical uncertainty, and the need to communicate insights to diverse and non-technical stakeholders.

Your strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, combined with expertise in demand modelling and data interpretation formed across transport, infrastructure, or modelling-focused analytical environments will see you excel in navigating complex modelling challenges, translating technical outputs into clear insights, and coordinating across stakeholders to bring robust analytical processes to lead to informed investment decisions and improved customer outcomes.

You’re recognized as a strategic thinker and effective communicator, skilled at interpreting modelling outputs and presenting insights, experienced in toll road demand modelling, traffic forecasting, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration within complex government or infrastructure settings.
