Job summary

RSM Australia seeks a Senior Analyst in Restructuring & Recovery to join our Perth practice. You will lead corporate and personal insolvency engagements, drive restructuring initiatives, and contribute to turnaround matters for a diverse client base.

You will own critical engagement work, support and mentor junior team members, and deliver practical solutions for clients and stakeholders navigating time-sensitive challenges.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience in insolvency, restructuring, recovery or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Manage key aspects of corporate and personal insolvency, restructuring and advisory engagements.
• Conduct investigations, analyse financial information and identify key issues and recommendations.
• Assist with trading, asset realisation and other operational work, including budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare correspondence, working papers and reports for clients, creditors, courts and regulators.
• Manage statutory and regulatory requirements and key engagement deadlines.
• Liaise directly with directors, employees, creditors, clients and professional advisers.
• Monitor engagement progress, deadlines and budgets, escalating issues where required.
• Collaborate with colleagues and specialists across RSM.

RSM's Restructuring & Recovery team in Perth is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Senior Analyst to join our growing practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a broad range of corporate and personal insolvency engagements, business restructures and turnaround matters, while developing your technical expertise alongside experienced industry professionals.

In this role, you will take ownership of key aspects of engagements, support and mentor junior team members, and play an important part in delivering practical solutions for clients and stakeholders navigating complex and often time-sensitive situations.

What You'll Be Doing

About you:

• 2-4 years' experience in insolvency, restructuring, recovery or a related field
• Degree in Business, Commerce (Accounting major) or Law with an interest in Insolvency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Highly Regarded

• Completion or near completion of CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
• Commencement of the ARITA Insolvency Education Program
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confidence building and maintaining professional networks and relationships
