Job summary

Insignia Financial is seeking a Senior Analyst for Exposure Management & Trading to manage derivative overlays, hedge strategies and risk reporting. You will work with Portfolio Managers and counterparties to translate investment decisions into efficient market execution.

The role spans equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives, with opportunities to enhance automation and risk controls. Strong analytics and stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, Engineering, CS or related discipline.
• 3–6 years' experience in trading, investment implementation, exposure management or related function.
• Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives.
• Advanced Excel skills; exposure to Bloomberg and FX Connect viewed favourably.
• Experience using AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to improve analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage positions across derivative and overlay programs.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers to translate decisions into market implementations.
• Monitor exposures, hedge ratios and overlay performance with analytics and reporting.
• Complete pre-trade and post-trade reviews for compliance with guidelines and limits.
• Build relationships with brokers, banks and counterparties for execution and pricing.
• Manage trading lifecycle including collateral, margin, settlements and corporate actions.
• Act as liaison between Investments, Operations and custodians to solve issues.
• Contribute to onboarding new markets, instruments and counterparties.
• Develop analytical tools, reporting and automation to improve efficiency and risk management.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and controls.
