Job summary

Brighter Super is seeking an Investment Risk Analyst to help oversee risk across its $36+ billion fund. You will partner with Investments, Risk and Compliance to monitor risks, deliver insights and strengthen risk reporting and models.

You will gain exposure to market, liquidity, counterparty and climate risk while working with stakeholders across the organisation to drive strong outcomes for members.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment risk, investments, analytics or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of market, liquidity and counterparty risk.
• Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, maths or engineering.
• Strong quantitative and technical skills in data analysis, simulations and risk modelling.
• Experience interpreting risk metrics like tracking error and risk attribution is valued.
• Familiarity with equities and fixed income; private markets are a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, judgement and strong delivery focus.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse investment risks across the Fund's portfolio.
• Support weekly liquidity risk monitoring and quarterly APRA reporting.
• Produce risk reporting, dashboards and analyses for decisions.
• Help enhance risk models, frameworks and analytics capabilities.
• Assist in preparing committee papers and governance reporting.
• Support data risk strategy and reporting uplift initiatives.
