NAB is seeking a Senior Analyst Engineer (Operations) to strengthen our Data Platform Operations team and protect production services. You will combine technical depth with operational excellence and stakeholder engagement to proactively support reliable platforms and deliver great outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise production environments and operational services.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues using data-driven approaches.
• Familiarity with ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of AWS data services and modern data technologies (Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Hive, EMR).
• Experience with CI/CD practices and automation in software delivery.

Responsabilités

• Ensure production platform stability with proactive monitoring and health checks.
• Lead incident management, including investigation, RCA, and resolution.
• Review and govern changes for safe, controlled releases.
• Troubleshoot and continuously improve production systems and data platforms.

Step into a Senior Analyst Engineer (Operations) role where you'll play a critical part in ensuring the stability, resilience and continuous improvement of NAB's data platforms and production services.

As a Senior Analyst Engineer, you will join our Data Platform Operations team that's doubling down on owning it and moving with speed. You will combine technical expertise, operational excellence and stakeholder engagement to proactively support production services, improve platform reliability and deliver great outcomes for our customers.

Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:

• Ensure production platform stability through proactive monitoring, health checks and operational support.
• Lead incident management activities, including investigation, coordination, root cause analysis and resolution.
• Review, govern and support technology changes to ensure safe and controlled release outcomes.
• Troubleshoot, debug and continuously improve production systems and data platforms.
• Partner with engineering, delivery and infrastructure teams to resolve complex operational issues.
• Drive adherence to ITIL processes, operational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support disaster recovery testing, platform resilience and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Take ownership and accountability for production services, customer queries and service requests.

• Strong experience supporting enterprise production environments and operational services.
• Proven ability to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using data-driven approaches.
• Experience working within ITIL frameworks, including Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and provide trusted advice.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, auditability and operational risk controls.
• Experience supporting large-scale data platforms and cloud-based environments.
• Knowledge of AWS data services and modern data technologies including Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Hive, EMR or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, automation tools and software delivery processes.
• Ability to work within a 24x7 operational environment, including participation in support rosters.
