Job summary

National Australia Bank in Sydney is seeking a Senior Analyst, Credit Strategies to join the Business Lending Credit strategies team. You will help shape automated credit decisioning and drive data-driven improvements across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with Risk, Product, Data, Automation and Technology teams, build reporting on End-to-End credit process health, and translate technical findings into actionable recommendations that influence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an analyst role within financial services, credit risk, retail or non-retail ending, data or analytics.
• Strong numerical and analytical capability, with demonstrated hands-on experience using Python.
• An understanding of credit risk, credit decisioning technologies, system design, business rules frameworks, controls and process automation to support lending outcomes.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to engage with technical and business stakeholders across different levels.
• TA tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, engineering, data science or a related field.

You’llbring to this role:

• An understanding of credit risk, credit decisioning technologies, system design, business rules frameworks, controls and process automation to support lending outcomes
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, risk-mindset and the ability to independently work through complex information
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to engage with technical and business stakeholders across different levels
• A tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, engineering, data science or a related field
