• Apply analytics to enhance credit decisioning and Credit automation.
• Collaborate in the development and ongoing support of predictive models and AI-enabled credit solutions to improve credit decisioning, risk management, and customer outcomes.

In the role of a Manager, Credit Analytics Delivery you will jointhe Business Lending Credit strategy team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

The Opportunity

As Manager, Credit Analytics Delivery, you will lead a team of technical analytics professionals while remaining hands-on in the delivery of strategic initiatives. You'll play a critical role in supporting Business Lending Credit Strategies through advanced analytics, monitoring frameworks, automation, machine learning and data-driven insights.

Working closely with Credit Strategy, Product, Technology and Data & Analytics teams, you'll help shape and enhance automated credit decisioning capabilities whilst maintaining strong governance, controls and performance monitoring.

In this role you will:

• Develop analytical Insights that support Business Lending credit strategies and drive better business outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement through performance monitoring, controls oversight and actionable insight generation.
• Develop and mentor a team of analytics specialists, building technical capability and knowledge retention.
• Partner with Credit Strategy, Product Owners, Technology and Risk teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies, including machine learning, AI and alternative data sources.
• Contribute directly to strategy development through data-driven recommendations and portfolio insights.
• Ensure monitoring frameworks provide early detection of risks and opportunities across automated credit strategies.

What you’ll bring

We're looking for a technically strong and commercially minded leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

• Proven experience in Financial Services, Credit Risk, Business Lending or Risk Analytics.
• Strong technical capability in Python, analytics delivery, automation and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience building or working with decision systems, automated decisioning platforms or microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of machine learning, predictive modelling and modern analytics approaches.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching or mentoring technical teams.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong risk mindset and ability to balance innovation with governance and controls.
• A tertiary qualification in a quantitative, engineering, data science, mathematics or related discipline.

This is full-time permanent opportunity and can be performed from either Melbourne or Sydney.
